1 cup or handful of castings in planting-hole before adding small plants or cuttings then cover all.

Our worms have no teeth, and only tiny mouths so do not ‘eat’ as one might expect. They suck in the rotting, breaking down organic ‘soups’ that microbes produce. They eat, microbes and all, often taking in stinky anaerobic wastes and pooping out no smell, aerobic worm castings, loaded with good microbes, bioavailable nutrients, amino acids, natural antibiotics and more.

Any potential bacterial diseases, fungal infections, spores, helminths – ‘nasties’ – are stone-ground in each worms’ tiny ‘crop’ (similar to those in birds) and rendered completely safe, recycled and ready to grow!

Note: this is a biological/living topsoil product. Best use before microbes dry out completely. They glue themselves inside organic material – form lumps – to protect themselves as the castings dry out. Still functional and beneficial for more than a year if stored in a dark, cool place.

To clarify, 1% brix reading doubles at 2%. Doubles again to 3% and so on. 2% to 7% is common where synthetic chemicals are used thus the plants are mostly water. The denser the sap-sugars and minerals the higher the brix reading will go.

Available ‘charts’ show the highest brix reading for chemically grown wheat is perhaps 18% (uncommon) yet wheat grown in white sand with added beneficial microbes in W.A. became chocolate soil aggregates WITHOUT ANY CHEMICAL INPUTS and the crops grown showed brix readings of up to 49% with a crude protein measurement of 35%. Conventional farming, using synthetic chemicals, can never match that.
