Packed with living, active, plant needed microbes to effectively suppress diseases and pests by securely dominating the plant, inside and out, the root system and surrounding soil, to prevent ‘infection’ by anerobic or other bacterial, nematode or fungal diseases.

Also effective as a foliar spray to ‘crowd out’ & dominate attacking air-borne diseases so long as plant tissues (above & below ground) are sufficiently covered with appropriate beneficial microbes from within the Castings Tea.

Plants experiencing transplant shock or environmental stress usually bounce back quickly with a sufficient dose of 1:10 liquid castings in unchlorinated water.

Plants and trees that are struggling, have lost their leaves, are not flowering, look almost dead usually respond within days – come back from the ‘dead’.

Plants produce ‘fuller’, greener and nutrient-dense leaves, higher quality and numbers of flowers, fruits and seeds. No withholding period required.

Seeds, seedlings, small plants, cuttings, vines and trees – including the largest trees – benefit positively from soaking their roots in  Castings Tea (neat or diluted) prior to planting.

Will not harm beneficial insects, birds or animals, aquatic life, or cause algal blooms

Seed inoculation: 100ml: 4-5kg seed – depends on seed texture and surface area.

Revive and build up potted plants: 1:10 (Product to Water) * Always unchlorinated water.

Water-in newly transplanted plants: 1:10

Lawns: 500mls microbe mix (Castings Tea) with 10lts water (1:25) = 10.5lt mixed. Covers up to 60m2. Repeat spraying every 30-35 days till established. Then see if you can stop smiling!

General Garden (Flowers/Vegies) cover: ‘10.5lt mixed’ to cover 35-55m2 of garden soil. More applications or less dilution as needed. Apply to ground prior to planting, at planting and after planting.

A ½ cup of castings tea in the hole for each ‘scion’ (grape cutting) to moisten hole then plant & cover.

Orchard or nursery trees: 1:4 ratio thus, 1lt product with 9lt water = 10lt (10%) mix. Apply 1-4lts under entire tree canopy

Broadacre & grazing land: 1,000lt IBC treats 100 acres (40+ hectares). 10lt/acre approx. Best if placed under the ground rather than sun-effected on the surface. Deposit in furrows and cover.

Foliar sprays are brilliant, very effective & easy to apply, with noticeable results !

*Note: plants can effectively absorb mix through leaves – fulvic acid from worm castings really aids absorption – without any ‘burning’ or harm to the leaves or plant.

In the soil: Plant root systems sense that they are in a highly microbial environment and can trigger the plants to photosynthesis at up to 30 times more efficiency than  plants in contact with synthetic fertilisers.

Vermicycle’s bioSafe Castings Tea is a biological worm liquid fertilizer, bio-inoculant & bio-stimulant that is typically diluted for various applications. Safe to use on virtually any plant, as directed.

• For seed inoculation, use 10ml bioSafe Castings Tea per 1kg of seed – mix till seed is slightly sticky but almost dry – add more seed or inoculant as suits your seed porosity.
• Seed bio-inoculant: allow seed to soak over night or at least 2 hours prior to planting.
• Root bio-inoculant: soak plant roots over night or at least 2 hours before planting in 10% bioSafe to ensure beneficial microbial dominance on all surfaces, prior to planting or transplanting. Water-in your plant with residual bioSafe liquid.
• As a foliar spray, mix 10ml bioSafe Castings Tea per 1lt of water. Apply at 30 PSI or less. Use course nozzles to avoid filtering out beneficial fungi &/or blocking .
• For liquid injection or in-furrow applications, use 5lt bioSafe Castings Tea per hectare. As above.

Detailed Dilution Ratios:

Seed Inoculation: 10ml bioSafe Castings Tea per 1kg of seed; 5lt bioSafe per tonne of seed

Foliar Spray: 10ml bioSafe Castings Tea per 1L of water

Liquid Injection/In-furrow: 5L bioSafe Castings Tea per hectare, mixed with water according to sprayer calibration (e.g., 5L bioSafe Castings Tea with 95L water for a 100L/ha sprayer)

Home Gardeners: Dilute 50ml bioSafe Castings Tea into a 5L watering can of de-chlorinated water – preferably rainwater.

Important Considerations:

Water Quality: Use clean water, ideally with a water hardness of less than 70ppm & no anti-microbials. Always clean containers and spray equipment thoroughly before using bioSafe products.

Tank Mixing Order: Add water first, followed by nutrients, and finally bioSafe Castings Tea , within 18 hours of mixing for optimal results.

Application Timing: Foliar applications are best when plant leaf surfaces are not above 26°C.

bioSafe Castings Tea’s function: acts as a carrier to distribute nutrients and also plays a role in promoting plant health by suppressing pests and diseases, particularly when used as a seed & root inoculant.
